Four-star LB Dante McClellan commits to Missouri
Canton (Ohio) McKinley On3 Industry four-star linebacker Dante McClellan announce his commitment to Missouri on Monday, choosing the Tigers over his other finalists in Louisville, Michigan State, Kentucky and Tennessee.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound McClellan becomes commit No. 3 for head coach Elias Drinkwitz and his staff in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
“It was just the love that they showed,” McClellan said. “They put their time and effort into me. I’m a priority linebacker for them and Coach DJ Smith, Maurey Bland and Coach Drink recruiting me hard.
“It feels like home already.”
McClellan attended a recent junior day in Columbia and loves the environment around the program.
“I just feel like under Coach Drink it’s a new mindset,” he said. “Everyone wants to win together and push to be great. Mizzou has an underdog feel and they’re trying to win.”

McClellan looks forward to suiting up for Smith.
“They talk real football and they really want to get me down there and said they need me on the field,” McClellan said.
The On3 Industry tabs McClellan as the nation’s No. 39 linebacker and No. 366 prospect overall. On3 slots McClellan as the No. 29 linebacker in the land.
Missouri’s 2025 class also includes On300 quarterback Matt Zollers and defensive lineman Jason Dowell. Drinkwitz and his staff signed the nation’s No. 21 class in 2024 and coming off a 11-2 campaign including a Cotton Bowl win over Ohio State to cap a Top 10 season, they’re primed to sign another Top25 class in this cycle.
McClellan will take his official to Missouri the weekend of June 21.
