Former Missouri guard Javon Pickett made it official Monday after almost three weeks in the transfer portal.
Pickett is transferring to Saint Louis, he announced via Instagram. He’s a native of Belleville, Illinois, which is just outside St. Louis — meaning he’s heading home. He’ll have one year of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer.
Pickett was largely a starter during his time with Missouri and is coming off his best season. He averaged 11.1 points per game and dished 1.9 assists per contest, both of which were career-highs.
He arrived at Missouri after holding multiple offers, including Illinois. Now, he’s heading to the Atlantic 10 to play for Travis Ford.
Saint Louis is predicted to have a big year in the A-10, coming in at No. 25 in CBS Sports’ updated Preseason Top 25 and 1 on Monday. Not only did they add Pickett, but they also have all five starters returning, including Javonte Perkins. The Billikens are coming off a 23-12 overall record, including 12-6 in A-10 action, and an NIT appearance. They fell to Northern Iowa in the first round of the tournament.

Former Mizzou forward Trevon Brazile announces transfer portal decision
It didn’t take long for Missouri transfer Trevon Brazile to make his transfer decision.
Brazile is heading to Arkansas, he announced via Twitter on Wednesday. The decision came more than a week after Brazile entered the transfer portal following his lone season with Missouri.
Brazile arrived at Mizzou unranked from the Class of 2021, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average. But he received a three-star ranking from 247Sports and ESPN, and averaged 6.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 21.5 minutes per game as a freshman in 2021-22.
It’s another strong addition to the 2022 recruiting class for Eric Musselman and Co. The Razorbacks have the No. 3 recruiting class in the country, according to the On3 Consensus Team Rankings. They also recently landed a commitment from Anthony Black, a five-star recruit and the No. 19 player in the country, according to the On3 Consensus. Arkansas has three top-20 prospects coming in, and also Brazile, who has a year of SEC experience under his belt.
