Kobe Brown responds on senior night, future plans
The Missouri Tigers finished off the regular season with an 82-77 victory over Ole Miss. With that victory, the Tigers finished the season with a 23- 8 overall record and 11-7 in the conference. This is a massive turnaround from last season’s results when the Tigers ended that season at 12-21 and 5-13 in the SEC.
One of the players featured on last year’s roster Kobe Brown has been front and center for Missouri’s turnaround season. And best of all, for him, this impressive year comes in what is possibly his final season with the program. And after the game, Brown talked about the response he got from the crowd on senior night, the overall moment, and his future plans.
“It was definitely a fun moment. Being able to play in front of a crowd like that for four years to bring Mizzou basketball back; it was just a fun experience. I’m happy to be able to graduate from the University of Missouri, and it was just a surreal moment,” said Brown in the post-game press conference.
As far as what are his plans for his future? Well, with the guidance of head coach Dennis Gates, Brown intends to address all of that and then some later. But for now, they will enjoy the festivities following their senior game victory.

“It definitely means a lot, you know. We’ll talk after the season. But they showed a lot of love, and I love them for that.
If this is indeed his final year at Missouri, the six-foot-eight Huntsville, AL native will leave the program with an impressive stat line in his senior year. Brown ends the regular season averaging just under 16 points a game while shooting 55 percent from the field, nearly 45 percent from beyond the arc, and just shy of 80 percent from the free throw line. If Brown does decide to leave for the next level, the season he had this year is sure to help him find a spot in the pros.
