Branson (Mo.) Link Academy three-star combo guard T.O. Barrett has committed to Missouri, he told On3.

The 6-foot-4, 180-pound rising senior chose the Tigers over offers from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Tulsa, and others.

He ranks as the No. 124 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 9 combo guard in the class.

Barrett goes in-depth on his commitment to Mizzou

Barrett discussed his commitment to Mizzou with On3.

“When I went to Missouri for my official visit, it just felt like home when I got there. I felt very welcomed and became comfortable with them really quickly. I felt like I really fit their play style well, and I really liked coach (Dennis) Gates.”

In his own words, what type of player is Missouri getting in T.O. Barrett?

“When people ask me what kind of player I am, I tell them I’m a basketball player. I feel like I can do anything on the floor and I play both sides of the floor. I will guard the other teams best player and I can score the ball and make plays for others on offense.”

Barrett has a message for Mizzou fans.

“You are getting someone who is ready to come in and be a main part of our success. I’m ready do whatever to win. Go Tigers!”

Scouting Report

“TO Barrett is a big-framed guard. He makes a lot of positive plays on both ends of the floor. He is a good defender, very instinctive off the ball. He creates lots of deflections and quickly turns defense into offense. He has long arms and plays with a great pace. He gets downhill to the paint and finishes from various angles through contact. While he is a solid to an above-average athlete, his jump shot is promising. He does a lot of things that show up in the win column.” – On3’s Jamie Shaw
