Missouri cracks Top 15 in On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings
Missouri is off to a hot start in July on the recruiting trail. Following a commitment from Mesquite (Texas) Horn four-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers on Saturday, the Tigers have now landed three pledges in as many days.
The addition of Rogers, the No. 60 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking, bumps Mizzou up two spots to No. 15 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. Head coach Eli Drinkwitz and his staff nearly inked a top-20 recruiting class last cycle and are certainly on pace to do so this time around.
The Tigers now have 15 commitments overall this cycle. Their class currently checks in ahead of the likes of Texas, Michigan and USC.
Mizzou building impressive offensive recruiting class
With Rogers now in the fold, Mizzou’s six highest-ranked commits are all on the offensive side of the ball.
Headlining the class is Royersford (Pa.) Spring-Ford five-star quarterback Matt Zollers, the No. 31 overall prospect and No. 5 QB in the nation. Zollers was the first to join Mizzou’s 2025 class, as the Tigers beat out Penn State, Pitt and Georgia for his pledge on April 4. Zollers is playing recruiter for the Tigers as he prepares to play under Drinkwitz and Co. at the next level.

“Coach Drinkwitz is a high energy dude,” Zollers told On3 in June. “He is what I really want in a coach and he is an offensive guy, so he knows what he is doing with an offense and a quarterback. He is a great guy with energy that has been able to turn the program around. Before he got there, Missouri was a decent team. But now, I think they’re heading in the right direction of being a very good team that can compete with the best. I have a lot of confidence in coach Drinkwitz.”
Eight four-star prospects have since flanked the elite signal-caller. Rogers isn’t the only top-100 recruit to join the class this month, as Naperville (Ill.) IMG Academy four-star wide receiver Donovan Olugbode did the same on Friday evening. Olugbode is the No. 89 recruit and No. 13 wideout in the nation. Cocoa (Fla.) four-star WR Jayvan Boggs also joined the class in July.
Eureka (Mo.) four-star offensive tackle Jack Lange is a standout in-state addition, as he’s the top-ranked player in Missouri this cycle and the No. 12 tackle overall. Germantown (Tenn.) Melrose four-star running back Jamarion Morrow highlights the five commitments that came for Mizzou in June.
Other top commits in the class include Hermann (Mo.) four-star EDGE Daeden Hopkins, Canton (Ohio) McKinley four-star linebacker Dante McClellan and Fort Worth North Crowley four-star IOL Henry Fenuku.
