Missouri QB commit Matt Zollers is new 5-star in updated On3 Industry Ranking
After the latest rankings updates from other recruiting services, Royersford (Pa.) Spring-Ford quarterback Matt Zollers is now a five-star prospect in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Zollers, a Missouri commit, is now the No. 31 overall prospect and is one of 32 five-star prospects in the class. He’s also now the No. 5 QB and top-ranked player in Pennsylvania.
The 6-foot-3.5, 200-pounder pledged to Eli Drinkwitz and the Tigers on April 4, choosing the SEC program over Penn State, Pitt and Georgia. He headlines Mizzou’s 2025 class and also ranks as the No. 13 overall recruit and No. 2 QB in the 2025 On300.
“My connections at Missouri were just greater than they were anywhere else,” Zollers told On3 upon his commitment. “This was a really tough decision for me to make. I Ultimately decided this morning.”

When checking in at the On3 Elite Series on Tuesday, Zollers caught up with On3’s Chad Simmons, affirming that he is “locked in” with Missouri. The Elite 11 finalist said he is still in communication with Penn State, Pitt and Alabama, but more out of respect for those programs.
Matt Zollers Scouting Summary
On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power writes this of Zollers as a prospect:
“Matt Zollers is one of the biggest movers at the position in this (February) rankings update. The 6-foot-3.5, 200-pounder has a live arm, plus athleticism and perhaps the best individual playmaking skills we saw on junior film at the position. No 2025 quarterback put more high-level reactive playmaking on film last fall. He plays fast and shows the ability to make a number of high-level throws on film. Zollers passed for 2,917 yards and 37 touchdowns against two interceptions and added 420 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground. On3 was the first to tab Zollers as a blue-chip prospect when he held just one Power Five offer last fall.”
