It’s always been incredibly difficult to play two Division I sports. It’s a rare feat that few athletes have been able to accomplish over the years. Missouri quarterback Sam Horn is one of the rare athletes that’s been blessed enough to be able to play two sports in college–not only does he play for the Tigers’ football team, but he also pitches for their baseball team.

Check it out as he fans a TCU batter in the fifth inning, giving him two strikeouts for the inning.

He ended up firing three strikeouts in three innings of work on Sunday against TCU. The game is currently tied 6-6 in the top of the 9th inning.

Horn got his first taste of college football action this year as a freshman against the New Mexico State Aggies.

The Georgia native ranked as the No. 214 overall player and No. 14 quarterback in the 2022 class according to On3 Consensus Rankings, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average. He helped guide Collins Hill to the Georgia Class 7A State Championship his senior season.
