Missouri has been on fire on the recruiting trail since April, and the Tigers look to be in prime position to add even more playmakers to their class.

Two majors targets — four-star wideouts Jayvan Boggs and Donovan Olugbode — are set to announce their commitments later this week. And both are trending in Missouri’s direction, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).

On Monday, On3 VP of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong logged an expert pick in the Tigers’ favor for Boggs. And on Tuesday, On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons added another for the Tigers to land Olugbode.

The former is set to announce his decision on July 4, with Olugbode planning to make his decision a day later on July 5.

“It has been a long process, but I am ready to make my decision,” Olugbode told Simmons. “The official visits were big for me. I got on each campus, I saw what each school had to offer, and after my last official visit, I went home and went over the pros and cons.

… “My decision came down to relationships, who I felt was genuine and the offensive scheme. Those were all big factors for me.”

The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder took official visits to Florida, Missouri, USC and Washington in June, and he also included Oregon in his top five.

Boggs, a one-time Ohio State pledge, previously trimmed his list to seven in April, then to four before the summer. However, the Tigers and UCF were the only programs to receive official visits.

Tigers looking to add to a growing 2025 haul

Eli Drinkwitz and Co. entered April with zero commitments this cycle but now have 12 in total just a few months later. Seven prospects made the call in favor of the SEC program in Columbia in that month alone. None were bigger than Royersford (Pa.) Spring-Ford five-star quarterback Matt Zollers, who kicked things off by committing on April 4.

“My connections at Missouri were just greater than they were anywhere else,” Zollers told On3 upon his commitment.

Since adding the elite gunslinger, the Tigers staff wasted no time adding building blocks around Zollers. Belleville (Ill.) Althoff Catholic three-star defensive lineman Jason Dowell was the next to pledge on April 19. The flood gates opened from there.

Canton (Ohio) McKinley four-star linebacker Dante McClellan and Geismar (La.) Dutchtown three-star EDGE Joshua Lewis each committed on April 22. Eureka (Mo.) four-star offensive tackle Jack Lange — a top-200 overall recruit and the No. 1 prospect in Missouri — followed suit two days later.

“It’s close to home,” Lange told On3. “When I think of what I want in a college town, campus, academics and football, it’s everything that I want and I’m really excited to be a part of it. I’ve been told by Missouri’s coaches that I’m going to be a pillar in this recruiting class. I want to be able to help bring guys in and build this class up to something that’s really special. With me and Matt Zollers, I think we can really turn this thing into something that’s going to be great.”

Saint Louis DeSmet three-star LB Jason King and four-star EDGE Daeden Hopkins rounded out a spectacular month on the trail for the Tigers. In June, they added to the class with four-star interior lineman Henry Fenuku, safety Dyllon Williams, three-star wideout Shaun Terry, three-star cornerback Mark Manfred, and four-star running back Jamarion Morrow, one of the nation’s top all-purpose backs.

The Tigers’ class ranks No. 18 in the nation and No. 9 in the SEC, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
