“I would describe my time here at Mizzou as joyful. There was really no dull moments ever, even through winter workouts or spring ball, summer workouts, fall camp — I had a lot of fun. I built some bonds that I’m gonna hold forever. I’ll never take it for granted.”

Wease made no shortage of memories in his first season with the program. Mizzou finished the 2023 campaign with 11 wins, the most since 2014. Further, Drinkwitz had not previously finished a season at Missouri with more than six wins.

Wease knows he was a part of something special, and he’s ready to capture that feeling again.

“It definitely makes this place special to me because I’ve never been a part of something so tight and so close, where everybody has the same mindset, going the same direction towards the same goal. Just being a part of that was special. I’ll never take that for granted, either.

“We’ve seen our hard work pay off this season… What I’m looking forward to most this upcoming year. is actually putting our full potential on tape. I feel like we only touched the surface, and there’s a lot more excitement that’s going to happen in Columbia.”
