3-star quarterback Zane Flores offered by Missouri
Gretna (Neb.) High School three-star quarterback Zane Flores continues to see his stock rise, with Missouri becoming the latest program to offer the talented signal-caller.
He is the No. 635 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. On3 rates him as the No. 20 quarterback in the class. Lincoln (Neb.) Lincoln East four-star athlete Malachi Coleman is the lone recruit from Nebraska ranked ahead of him by On3.

Flores has been Gretna’s starting quarterback since his freshman year. He is the first known freshman to start varsity for the Dragons in school history, according to On3’s Jeremy Crabtree. Gretna was the 2021 Nebraska Class A state champion led by Flores, as they took down Omaha Westside in the finals. As a junior, Flores threw for 2,885 yards and 26 touchdowns.
In addition to the Tigers, Zane Flores holds offers from Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, Memphis, Washington, Bowling Green, Kansas, and more. He is also receiving significant interest from Ohio State.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), Kansas State is the current leader in his recruitment. The Wildcats have hosted him a handful of times for unofficial visits and hold a 49.2 percent chance of securing his commitment.
He is the eighth quarterback Missouri has offered in this class, joining a list that includes four-stars Avery Johnson and JJ Kohl, as well as three-star Brock Glenn. Flores has previously visited the Tigers, tripping to see them at the end of January for a junior day event.
