Venice (Fla.) EDGE Damon Wilson has been offered by Missouri, he announced Monday on Twitter.

Wilson is the No. 70 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 8 EDGE and the No. 17 junior prospect in Florida.

On3’s own rankings are higher on him than the rest of the industry, pegging him as the nation’s No. 21 overall prospect, No. 3 EDGE and No. 7 player in Florida this cycle.

The 6-foot-4, 230-pounder has amassed north of 30 offers, including Alabama, Ohio State, Florida, Texas, Penn State, and others. However, he has only visited Florida State and Alabama thus far. The Crimson Tide have made an early impression on him.

“From an outside view, everyone thinks Alabama is all about football, but it is bigger than that,” Wilson told On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons. “The academics program for freshmen really stood out to me. I like their study hall. The tutoring every day was impressive. It is just more than football. The trainer is set per person and not the full group. There is a lot of detail at Alabama and I like what they have to offer outside of football.”

Damon Wilson has not scheduled any visits yet for March, but told Simmons he would like to see ClemsonMiamiPenn StateTexas, and USC.
