Wake Forest transfer offensive tackle Keagen Trost commits to Missouri Tigers
Wake Forest transfer offensive tackle Keagen Trost committed to the Missouri Tigers on Friday night. He announced the news on his Twitter page. He’ll have one season of eligibility remaining. Trost played in all 12 games for the Demon Deacons in 2024, logging 766 total snaps.
In 2023, when he played with Indiana State, he saw action in eight games with four starts for the Sycamores. He tallied 444 snaps on the offensive line and field goal unit. Trost posted 70 or more snaps in back-to-back games. He also played a season-high 82 snaps against Northern Iowa.
The Missouri Tigers finished with a 9-3 overall record this year. They’ll finish off their 2024 campaign with the TransPerfect Music City Bowl against Iowa. They won three of their last four games, with their only loss in that stretch coming to South Carolina, 34-30. The Tigers had wins over Arkansas, Auburn, and Oklahoma, but lost in blowouts to Alabama and Texas A&M.
Missouri needs bodies to replenish their offensive line. Four starters from the 2024 season are out of eligibility. Trost joins Dominick Giudice as the offensive linemen to commit to the Tigers in the portal and the ninth player overall.
