South Kent (Conn.) The Taft School 3-star offensive tackle Charlie Symonds has decommitted from NC State. He was previously pledged to the Wolfpack since June 9.
“I have decommited from NC state. I would like to thank Coach Doeren and Coach Garrison and the whole staff for recruiting me and believing in me.” Symonds wrote in a tweet Friday afternoon.
Symonds is the No. 905 overall prospect and No. 58 OT in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 7 player in Connecticut.
With Symonds’ decommitment, the Wolfpack now have 16 commitments in their 2023 class.
