After entering the NCAA transfer portal, former Duke running back Jordan Waters will be staying in the state of North Carolina and the ACC, committing to NC State on Monday.

Waters has spent all five years of his collegiate career at Duke where he rushed for 1,624 career yards and 23 touchdowns, also adding 30 receptions for 305 receiving yards and a receiving score to his stat line. 2023 served as his breakout year, earning Third-Team All-ACC honors after rushing for a career-high 753 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Waters played high school football at Fairmont (NC), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1,155 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
