Former Ohio State receiver Noah Rogers is coming home. Rogers has committed to NC State after entering the transfer portal on Dec. 31.

The North Carolina native was ranked as a five-star recruit and the No. 26 overall player in the country in the class of 2023, according to On3. He did not catch a pass for the Buckeyes this past season.

Rogers considered NC State coming out of high school, before signing with the Buckeyes. He finished with more than 3,200 receiving yards during his high school career at Rolesville High in Raleigh, North Carolina.

As a junior in high school, Rogers caught 70 passes for 1,432 yards and 22 touchdowns. He is joining an NC State team that finished 9-4 (6-2) this past season, ending the year with a loss to Kansas State in the Pop-Tarts Bowl.

Ohio State had a really good year in 2023 but it ended on a tough note. The Buckeyes lost to Missouri in the Cotton Bowl on Dec. 29
