NC State cornerback Aydan White intends to enter NCAA Transfer Portal

The NC State Wolfpack have another player deciding to leave the program. On Tuesday, cornerback Aydan White announced that he intends to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal.

White has been at NC State since committing to the program out of high school ahead of the 2020 season. With the Wolfpack, he has seen consistent playing time, seeing action in 44 games over four seasons in the program. In those four years, White has recorded 100 total tackles, 73 solo, 5.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, and eight interceptions, with one being returned for a touchdown.

White’s transfer is a significant one to the Wolfpack and their defense. The 6-foot-2, 170lbs defensive back has earned All-ACC team honors the past two seasons: first team in 2022 and third this past season.

White played high school football at Christ School High in Arden, NC, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 726 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
