He figures to be a quality addition somewhere else. He can certainly play and has proven to be a quality teammate working off the bench.
NC State also loses another to the portal
Breon Pass isn’t the only player set to depart from NC State this offseason. NC State’s Trey Parker played well off the bench for them as a true freshman guard. Now, he’ll be one of the program’s latest losses in the portal amidst the coaching change in Raleigh.
Parker plans to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. That comes per On3’s Joe Tipton on Friday.
Parker played in 27 games, with one start, this season for the Wolfpack. He averaged 4.6 points (41% FG, 35.7% 3PT), 1.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 0.5 steals in the 11.9 minutes per game that he played as a reserve.
On3’s Sam Gillenwater also contributed to this report.
