WR Jerel Bolder commits to NC State over Georgia and Virginia
Jerel Bolder has committed to NC State. The playmaker out of Marshville (N.C.) Forest Hills almost committed to Georgia last weekend coming off an official visit to Athens, but he held off, returned to Raleigh this weekend and committed to the Wolfpack.
“As soon as I got to NC State and walked in, I felt it,” Bolder told On3. “I liked Georgia and Virginia a lot too, but the players at NC State took me in like a brother, the coaches always made me feel like a priority and NC State feels like home.”
From the beginning, NC State has been high on Bolder’s list. They offered early, they have been very consistent and the staff made him feel like a priority.
“It never changed with NC State. They were my second or third camp, that is when they offered and they have been on me hard since. Every time they called my coach, they told him I was a priority. They told me the same and that was important to me. NC State recruited me really hard, they showed me how important I was to them and that was big for me.”

How the Wolfpack recruited him, the feeling he had around the players and coaches on campus and the what he expects when he gets to Raleigh factored into his decision.
“I am excited to play for coach Dave Doeren,” Bolder said. “He pushes his guys. He makes his guys earn everything they get. I like that about him. He has a great attitude and he is going to push me.”
