4-star PF A'mare Bynum to be in attendance for Nebraska game on Sunday
A’mare Bynum, a four-star prospect in the 2025 class out of Bryan High in Omaha, will be taking an unofficial visit to Nebraska on Sunday evening to see the Huskers take on Rutgers. This will be the fifth recorded time he’s visited Lincoln.
The 6-foot-8 power forward holds an offer from the in-state program, along with schools like Iowa, Iowa State, Creighton, and others.
According to the On3 Industry Rankings, Bynum is the No. 92 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle. He’s also the No. 18 power forward prospect. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Bynum talks Nebraska, other visits
In a previous interview with On3, Bynum discussed the Huskers.
Nebraska: “I like how they play with spacing. They talks to me about how I can really play well and how they see me fit in the program very well. Like bringing the ball up, being the main ball dominant. I would definitely say (our relationship) is great. They came to my game on Friday and they told me I had a great game.”
In addition to Nebraska, the big man has also visited Iowa and Iowa State. He discussed both in a previous interview.

Iowa: “They definitely use all their players. They can shoot the ball very well and they get up and down the court quick. They talk to me every month or so maybe.”
Iowa State: “They play really hard. Coach TJ (Otzelberger), I think he’s a really good coach. They’re recruiting me very well. They call me and text me all the time.”
A’mare’s father, Omar Bynum, played three seasons at Iowa State from 2001-2003.
What he’s looking for in a school
Bynum isn’t in a rush to make a decision and plans to make a commitment sometime during his senior year. However, he does know what he’s looking for in his future college.
“Definitely a school that would use me the right way,” he says. “Using the type of skill set that I have. Allowing me to play on the wing some and not just be a big man on the post. I’d like to come in and play as a freshman. Not necessarily start, but play a little bit at least.”
