Saint Louis (Mo.) Cardinal Ritter Prep four-star running back Jamarion Parker has committed to Nebraska.

He chose the Cornhuskers following his decommitment from Arkansas on March 25.

Parker is the No. 337 overall prospect and No. 26 RB in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 4 player in Missouri.

The next day after Parker backed off his pledge to the Razorbacks, he set an official visit with Matt Rhule and the Huskers. He also visited soon after in the first week of April — his second trip to Lincoln in 2024.

Now, he headlines as an important piece to the puzzle this cycle for Rhule and his staff.

“The relationship that I have with the coaching staff (at Nebraska) is outstanding,” Parker told HuskerOnline. “They have some real solid guys. There is no doubt that Nebraska is recruiting me the hardest of all of the schools.”

Huskers add second blue-chip pledge to 2025 class

With the addition of Parker, Nebraska now possesses nine commitments in the 2025 cycle. The class checks in inside the top 40 of the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Orange (Calif.) Lutheran four-star quarterback TJ Lateef is the lone top-300 prospect in the mix for the Huskers. The Elite 11 finalist chose Nebraska on May 12.

“Nebraska made me feel wanted,” Lateef told On3. “The communication was heavy with the coaches since they offered me and they were very consistent. My biggest thing was always to go where I was wanted, and before the official visit they made me feel wanted, then on the official visit, they checked all of the boxes.”

A quartet of in-state commits bolster the class. Omaha North three-star defensive lineman Tyson Terry and Omaha Millard North three-star safety Caden VerMaas are the No. 3 and 4 players in the state, while Lincoln Southwest three-star athlete Jackson Carpenter and Wahoo Bishop Neumann three-star running back Conor Booth check in at No. 5 and 7 overall.

Lehi (Utah) Lone Peak three-star tight end Bear Tenney made the call in late April. Maize (Kan.) three-star wide receiver Bryson Hayes and Littleton (Colo.) Heritage three-star WR Tanner Terch round out the class.
