Dylan Raiola in attendance for Chiefs' game on Sunday Night Football
Arrowhead Stadium could be seeing double tonight on the sidelines during the Kansas City Chiefs’ divisional game with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Dylan Raiola, quarterback of the Nebraska Cornhuskers and noted lookalike of Patrick Mahomes, is in attendance for the AFC West matchup tonight on Sunday Night Football. That included him signing autographs for fans there to watch the Chiefs potentially clinch a ninth-straight division title.
Again, Raiola couldn’t look or play much more like Mahomes. The two quarterbacks have trained with one another before and, with that, Raiola has taken on many aspects of Mahomes, whether in his looks or style as a person or whether in his throws at the position.
Raiola just finished his true freshman year in college with the Cornhuskers. He completed 66.6% of his throws for 2,595 yards, a dozen touchdowns, and ten interceptions. The start of he and his team’s season were much better than they ended. In that end, though, Nebraska did become bowl eligible for the first time since 2016.

As for Mahomes, he is having a decent season in completing 68.4% of his passes, a career-high, for 2,979 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 11 picking coming into tonight. Still, it’s been enough, along with the rest of the two-time defending champs, to be 11-1 overall and be in reach of another divisional title and potentially the No. 1 seed again in the AFC.
Raiola and Mahomes are well aware of their connection to one another now. That’ll only continue tonight with Raiola nearby Mahomes for his game in Kansas City.
