Texas transfer WR Isaiah Neyor commits to Nebraska
Texas transfer wide receiver Isaiah Neyor has committed to Nebraska, he announced via social media. He started his career at Wyoming and was a highly coveted transfer when he arrived in Austin.
Neyor had an impressive 2021 season with Wyoming, hauling in 44 receptions for 878 yards and 12 touchdowns before entering the transfer portal. During the 2022 transfer portal cycle, he checked in as the No. 9-ranked transfer to hit the portal, according to the On3 Transfer Portal Rankings. However, he missed his first season at Texas due to injury, and got back onto the field in 2023 for just one game against Rice when he had one reception for 14 yards.
Neyor visited Nebraska earlier this week, and the Cornhuskers secured his commitment late Friday night.
Isaiah Neyor played high school football at Lamar (Texas), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 2,738 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
