2024 EDGE Jordan Ochoa commits to Nebraska
Castle Rock (Colo.) Castle View three-star EDGE Jordan Ochoa committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Thursday.
“I’m very blessed for this opportunity,” Ochoa wrote on social media. “I would like to thank my coaches and Castle View High School for always pushing me on and off the field. I would also like to thank my family, teammates, teachers and friends who have supported me throughout this journey.
“With that being said I will be committing to the University of Nebraska! GBR.”
Ochoa is the nation’s No. 2,064 overall prospect and No. 158 EDGE in the 2024 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 14 player in Colorado.
Nebraska’s 2024 recruiting class ranks inside the top 25 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings and is headlined by Buford (Ga.) Husker legacy, five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola. Raiola flipped from Georgia to Nebraska just days before National Signing Day.

Ainsworth (Neb.) top-70 tight end Carter Nelson is the No. 1 recruit in Nebraska, and the Huskers were able to keep him home. Nelson joined the class on June 28.
“I finally saw how they are turning it around there and don’t have any doubts about that,” Nelson told On3. I also bonded with the other commits really well and it’s my home state. It’s where my family is from.”
