“I’m excited to be apart of this program and I’m so blessed to be able to represent my home state!! Can’t wait to be back where it started!!,” Hoffmann wrote.

Hoffmann missed the 2024 season due to injury and she wrote a lengthy statement after surgery.
“When the time is right I the Lord will make it happen,” Hoffmann said. “I have recently come across those words and they have stuck with me. Everything happens for a reason and I believe that God chose this path for me and this is a way for me to grow as a person and as a player. I am so incredibly blessed that I had the opportunity to be a part of such a special team this year.”

Hoffmann revealed she played the 2023 season with a pretty serious hinderance.
“The memories that will be with me forever and the lessons I have learned that will continue to make me stronger,” Hoffmann continued. “While I would have never imagined playing this year with 2 torn hip labrums but I would not change one thing.
“I have gained so much knowledge from the people around me this year and I am grateful for everyone around me at the University of Arkansas for not only pushing me to be the best player I can be but for the people that made it even possible for me to play this year! I will never be able to thank you enough for that! I can’t wait to see what the future holds and I am excited to start this journey to being healthy again!! WPS!!”
Hoffman is an Elkhorn (Neb.) South High School alum, so going home makes sense. The Huskers simply reloaded with more talent all around the field.
