Matt Rhule visits Nebraska decommit Malachi Coleman
Lincoln (Neb.) Lincoln East four-star athlete Malachi Coleman decommitted Thursday from Nebraska.
New Huskers head coach Matt Rhule didn’t wait anytime to pay Coleman a visit with the contact period, stopping by Coleman’s home Friday.
Coleman was the top recruit in the 2023 Nebraska recruiting class before decommitting from Nebraska. He is the No. 69 overall recruit and No. 2 athlete in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Along with four-star wide receiver Omarion Miller decommiting Friday, the Huskers now rank 43rd in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking.
Earlier in the day, Rhule went to Lincoln (Neb.) High to see Iowa State wide receiver commit Beni Ngoyi.
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $161k. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
