Nebraska basketball fan hits full-court putt to win Porsche vs. USC
When it comes to basketball prizes, it’s always fun to watch fans drain shots to win tens of thousands of dollars. Well, the ante was increased and increased dramatically in the Nebraska vs. USC game on Wednesday night. A brand-new Porsche was on the line for a lucky Cornhusker fan. And they had to drain a full-court putt on the court.
Luckily for them, they drained it. And the keys to the stylish automobile were theirs.
He was excited, but maybe not as excited as you’d expect for somebody who just won a Porsche. Either way, it was an incredible putt and kudos to Nebraska for putting an amazing prize on the line.
The fan won an amazing prize, but Nebraska lost the game to USC, 78-73. The Trojans had multiple players score in double digits (Saint Thomas), (Desmond Claude), (Wesley Yates III), and (Rashaun Agee). Nebraska had three players in double figures: Juwan Gary, Brice Williams, and Connor Essegian. Gary chipped in 27 points and three rebounds, leading the team in scoring. Williams had 17 points, four rebounds, and two assists. He drilled all five of his free throw attempts. Essegian had 15 points and one rebound.
