Nebraska moves closer to top-25 recruiting class after landing 4-star WR Isaiah Mozee
Nebraska added another major piece to its 2025 football recruiting class on Friday, flipping four-star wide receiver Isaiah Mozee from Oregon.
The Lee’s Summit (Mo.) North star had been committed to the Ducks since April. The Huskers were also one of his top schools then, and they never gave up their pursuit of him.
They also got a big boost by hiring his father Jamar Mozee to an off-field role from his previous position at UCF. Mozee not only give the Huskers their fifth four-star commitment of the cycle, but also bumps them up three spots to No. 27 nationally in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
That comes a year after they finished No. 24 and No. 7 in the Big Ten.
“Matt Rhule is my type of guy!” Mozee told On3’s Steve Wiltfong. “He is himself. And that goes a long way. He knows how to treat people. He has great people around. He believes in his goals and he works hard for them.”
Relationships, visits to Lincoln were key factors for Huskers
Mozee visited the Huskers in June for an official visit and then returned again at the end of July, where he spent time with multiple other recruits, current players and coaches.
NU freshman quarterback and former five-star recruit Dylan Raiola was around all weekend for junior day. Mozee had a chance to catch up with Raiola and get to know him more.

“He’s a cool dude,” Mozee told HuskerOnline. “It’s great just being around him. He’s a great guy and it’s great just being around him.”
Relationships like the one with Raiola, as well as the ones he has with the coaching staff dating back more than a year, make it a place that feels like home.
“Everything is about the family here at Nebraska,” he added. “It’s family-oriented, and coach Matt Rhule is a family guy. I know that there is a family here and I would be alright.”
The 6-foot, 190-pounder is the No. 223 overall prospect and No. 29 WR in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
