Nebraska offers 3-star 2024 DL Caleb Mitchell

DeSoto (Texas) Parish Episcopal School three-star defensive lineman Caleb Mitchell received an offer from Nebraska Wednesday morning. He announced the news on Twitter

Mitchell is the No. 341 overall prospect and No. 27 defensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 55 player in Texas.

The offer from Nebraska is the 20th Power Five offer for the 6-foot-2, 220-pound Mitchell.

The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has Texas A&M with a narrow lead over Texas to land a commitment from Mitchell. The Aggies have a 30% chance to land Mitchell while Texas sits at 26%.

The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
