Nebraska offers 2024 LSU 4-star S commit Maurice Williams
Bellaire (Texas) Shadow Creek four-star safety Maurice Williams received an offer from Nebraska on Thursday. He has been committed to LSU since June 18.
Williams is the No. 113 overall prospect and No. 10 safety in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 20 player in Texas.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound defensive back is one of eight commits in LSU’s 2024 recruiting class . It includes Wiliams, Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian Academy four-star quarterback Colin Hurley and Loganville (Ga.) Grayson four-star athlete Joseph Stone among others.

Shows good instincts and play speed.
“Ran well as a sophomore, clocking an electronically-timed 4.74 second 40-yard dash. A solid form tackler who is willing to get physical when coming down to play the run. Has the skills to make more plays on the ball in coverage as a junior.”
