Nebraska rises in On3 Consensus rankings following Cameron Lenhardt, Ethan Nation commitments
Nebraska added two more commitments Tuesday night during the Under Armour All-American Bowl as Roswell (Ga.) three-star cornerback Ethan Nation and IMG Academy (Fla.) four-star edge rusher Cameron Lenhardt announced their commitments to the Cornhuskers.
Their decisions elevated the Cornhuskers’ 2023 recruiting class from No. 32 to No. 29 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings.
Lenhardt had originally been committed to the Cornhuskers but decommitted following Scott Frost’s firing. He ended up recommitting and choosing them over Maryland and Penn State.
Nation picked the Cornhuskers over Ohio State, Auburn, Houston and Colorado.
The 6-foot-2, 230-pound Lenhardt is the No. 342 overall prospect and No. 36 edge rusher for the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s ranked as the No. 62 player in Florida as well.

Nation, a 5-foot-10, 162-pound prospect, is the No, 428 player in the country and No. 44 cornerback in the 2023 class. He’s also ranked as the No. 43 player in Georgia.
Lenhardt is Nebraska’s fourth-highest ranked player in this class and Nation is their fifth-highest.
Lenhardt has an On3 NIL Valuation of $19.2K and Nation has an On3 NIL Valuation of $32K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
