Nebraska trending for 4-star IOL Grant Brix after official visit
After an official visit to Nebraska that graded as a ‘9’, Logan-Magnolia (Iowa) offensive lineman Grant Brix is trending toward the Cornhuskers, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).
HuskerOnline.com’s Bryan Munson entered his pick with a 55% confidence level on Thursday, nearly a week after Brix took his official visit to Lincoln. This jumped Nebraska over Kansas State and placed the Cornhuskers’ chances of landing the top-100 offensive lineman at 72.6%.
Brix’s visit a ‘9’
Brix’s official visit to Nebraska followed four previous trips to Lincoln — including one earlier this spring.
“I would give it a “9”,” Brix told HuskerOnline about his official visit. “I would say that the best part was interacting with all of the committed or not committed recruits. There were a lot of commitments there, so it was good to connect with them. The one-on-one with coach (Corey) Campbell and the time with the rest of the strength staff was great.”
Brix told HuskerOnline that meeting with Cornhuskers recruits and commits was a primary goal of his visit. Among those were Bellevue West (Neb.) quarterback Daniel Kaelin, Ainsworth (Neb.) tight end Carter Nelson, Taylor (Katy, Texas) tight end Ian Flynt and Klein Cain (Houston, Texas) offensive lineman Gibson Pyle.

In addition to Brix’s official visit to Nebraska, he also took officials to Oklahoma, Kansas State and Alabama during June.
He isn’t ruling out taking one more official visit before he can make a decision.
“I am going to get back into my routine,” Brix said. “It’s time to get back to work, do some cattle showing, and give it some time. Before the start of the season would be the goal for me to commit by, but there is a chance I could take a visit during the season, though.”
The 6-foot-6, 290-pound offensive lineman is the No. 82 prospect overall and No. 2 interior offensive lineman according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Iowa.
Brix currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $103K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
