On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine: Nebraska trending for Princewill Umanmielen
It’s only been three weeks since Nebraska offered Manor (TX) four-star edge rusher Princewill Umanmielen, but the Cornhuskers seem to be the runaway favorite to land him according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.
The 6-foot-4.5, 215-pound prospect picked up offers from Nebraska and Jackson State on November 28. He followed that up the following day with an offer from Ole Miss but it’s the Cornhuskers who have stood out the most with the RPM giving them a 96% chance to land his commitment.
HuskerOnline’s Sean Callahan put in a prediction for Nebraska on Umanmielen with a 65% confidence level on Monday.

Umanmielen is the No. 224 overall prospect and the No. 28 edge rusher for the 2023 class according in the 2023 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 40 player in Texas.
Per the 2023 On300, Umanmielen is the No. 259 overall prospect, No. 29 edge rusher and No. 44 player in Texas.

Totaled 64 tackles, a staggering 25 tackles for loss and an impressive 13 sacks during his junior campaign. Explosive off the snap. Jumped a 21-foot long jump during his junior track and field season.
Decent hand usage, lacks ideal counter moves on his pass rush. Excellent job initiating contact with his strike and keeping his chest clean. Leaner build for an edge rusher. Will need to fill out and get stronger in order to climb NFL boards. Early role player who will earn more playing time as he develops power and functional strength.
