Nebraska WR Isaiah Neyor enters NCAA Transfer Portal after declaring for NFL Draft
Nebraska wide receiver Isaiah Neyor has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, per On3’s Pete Nakos. Neyor declared for the 2025 NFL Draft only three days earlier.
Neyor had a productive season for the Cornhuskers after transferring in from Texas. He hauled in 34 passes for 455 yards and five touchdowns during his lone season in Lincoln.
“To my family, your love and support have been my anchor and I am beyond grateful,” Neyor wrote in his NFL Draft announcement. “Most importantly I thank God for giving me the strength, guidance, and favor to walk this path. With that being said, I am proud to declare for the 2025 NFL Draft.”
Neyor began his career at Wyoming in 2019. He played in one game during his first season, taking a redshirt in the process. He began to emerge as a more reliable contributor in his second season, the 2020 COVID-altered campaign. Neyor recorded one start and had eight catches for 248 yards, emerging as a big-play threat.
A year later, he’d really put himself onto the college football map. Neyor started 12 of 13 games that season, recording 44 catches for 878 yards and 12 touchdowns.
It was a big enough showing that he would enter the NCAA transfer portal looking for a bigger opportunity. He found that at Texas, but things didn’t really pan out. A knee injury ended his 2022 campaign before it began.
Neyor ultimately played in just one game with the Longhorns, recording one catch for 14 yards in 2023 before departing for the transfer portal again. He landed at Nebraska, where he revitalized his career. Neyor issued a slew of thanks in his statement declaring for the NFL Draft.

“First, I want to thank the University of Nebraska, Wyoming, and Texas for giving me the opportunity to play the sport I love,” Isaiah Neyor wrote. “Football has always been more than just a game for me, it’s been a source of growth, discipline, and purpose. Along this journey, I’ve faced some adversity but through those challenges, I’ve learned the power of perseverance and keeping faith, knowing that every obstacle is an opportunity to grow stronger.
“I want to thank my coaches for believing in me, pushing me, and shaping me into the athlete I am today.”
Evidently, Isaiah Neyor’s collegiate career may not be over quite yet. Now, the Nebraska standout will test the portal waters, as he examines all of his possible options.
