Four-star SG Nick Janowski commits to Nebraska

Nick Janowski, a four-star shooting guard in the class of 2024, has committed to Nebraska, he told On3.
The 6-foot-3 junior out of Pewaukee (Wis.) High becomes the Huskers first commitment of the 2024 class. He chose Nebraska over offers from Wisconsin, Iowa State, Iowa, Virginia Tech, Marquette, and others.
Janowski ranks as the No. 102 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Rankings — the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies (ESPN, 247Sports, Rivals, On3).

Janowski on his commitment to Nebraska
Janowski discussed his commitment to the Huskers and Coach Fred Hoiberg with On3.
“I chose Nebraska because I feel it is a perfect fit for my game,” he said. “Their pace of play, defensive style, and offensive freedom are just a few of the many things that make it a great fit. Also, Coach Hoiberg has the program headed in the right direction, and I want to help take it to the next level.”
The Nebraska coaching staff making Janowski a priority recruitment made all the difference.
“Their staff made it clear that I was a priority to them since the beginning of my recruitment,” he continued. “It was their belief in me and the strong relationship I built with the coaching staff that affirmed Nebraska was the best place for me.”
