Scott Frost explains relationship with Brandon Moore, updates progress
Nebraska recently added a veteran defensive back in the transfer portal, Brandon Moore. Moore, a sixth-year corner, is now at his third school. In recent years, he’s struggled to find the field after a knee injury. Moore and Scott Frost have a long history together, dating back to the time that they spent together at UCF.
While speaking to the media, Scott Frost explained the relationship that he has with Brandon Moore. Along with that, he also gave an update on the progress that Moore has shown.
“Bam’s one of the players I’ve and I’m the closest with and he’s like a son to me,” Scott Frost said.

“I said it when he came, if he ends up helping us a bunch this year, then that’s great. If we end up helping him, then it’s worth it for me.”
Brandon Moore was a consensus three-star recruit in the Class of 2016. He was a freshman on the UCF team that went unbeaten, won the Peach Bowl, and claimed a national championship. By his sophomore campaign, Moore was one of the most important defenders on UCF’s roster, and he had a pick-six off Joe Burrow during the Fiesta Bowl. However, a knee injury in Week 1 of his junior season derailed his promising career. Since then, Moore has struggled to get back on the field, including one season when he transferred to Florida State.
