Scott Frost reveals how Nebraska can take the next step
Scott Frost came to Nebraska as the native son coming home to save the program. It had been since the Tom Osborne era that Nebraska had competed nationally and the program struggled under Mike Reilly. Frost was coming in off an unbeaten season at UCF. But, he hasn’t been able to turn things around at Nebraska, either.
While speaking to the media, Scott Frost was asked about what it would take to take the next step at Nebraska. For Frost, it starts with the little details.
“Well, we got to take a step forward every time we play with that,” Scott Frost said. “And, I think it’s communication on the staff. It’s understanding of concepts and details amongst the players.”

“Consistency and detail. You know, a player here, a play there, on both sides. A protection on offense. A coverage or a fit on defense. When we’re doing things right, we execute really well, but it’s got to be a little more consistent,” Scott Frost said.
