Texas transfer WR Isaiah Neyor set to visit Nebraska this weekend
Isaiah Neyor, who entered the transfer portal in December after spending a pair of seasons at Texas, is set to visit Nebraska this weekend, Husker Online’s Sean Callahan confirmed. Neyor began his college at Wyoming prior to his move to Texas.
Neyor will be a graduate transfer with potentially multiple years of eligibility remaining as a result of injuries and the Covid-19 year. He played in one game during two seasons at Texas.
Neyor starred for Wyoming in 2021, catching 44 passes for 878 yards and 12 touchdowns in 13 games.
Neyor was named second-team All-Mountain West Conference for that campaign. He led the Mountain West Conference in yards per catch and receiving touchdowns that season.
In 2020, Neyor ranked second on the Wyoming team with eight catches for 248 yards. That season was shortened to six games due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Neyor also appeared in one game at Wyoming in 2019 as a freshman. He is leaving a Longhorns program that played in the College Football Playoff on Monday.
