2024 4-star QB Mabrey Mettauer visiting North Carolina

The Woodlands (Texas) four-star quarterback Mabrey Mettauer is visiting North Carolina this weekend for the Tar Heels’ game against Pitt. His last trip to Chapel Hill was on June 18.

Mettauer is the No. 280 overall prospect and No. 20 quarterback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 41 player in Texas.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, LSU is leading for Mettauer’s commitment at 37.8%. He has been to Baton Rouge three times, most recently on Oct. 8.

Mettauer has an On3 NIL Valuation of $36K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
