3-star LB Will Hardy flips from Virginia to North Carolina

Norcross (Ga.) Greater Atlanta Christian School three-star linebacker Will Hardy has flipped from Virginia to North Carolina.
Hardy is the No. 681 overall player and No. 73 linebacker in the country, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He announced his decision on social media.
Hardy said the coaching changes at Virginia, with Bronco Mendenhall stepping down and Tony Elliot being hired, was the main reason behind his decision.
“Due to the events of the past two weeks, I have reconsidered my college decision,” Hardy said. “I have great respect for the University of Virginia and appreciate Coach Mendenhall and his staff for recruiting me. I also believe Coach Eliott will do a great job leading their program.”
