On Saturday, the North Carolina Tar Heels got a much-needed and very convincing win over the Clemson Tigers. One of the key contributors in that game was Leaky Black, who Armando Bacot praised during the postgame.

Bacot started by speaking about the win itself. It was a lot of fun for the Tar Heels, who had lost three games in a row coming into the Clemson game.

“It was a lot of fun,” Armando Bacot said.

“I mean, I thought we did a good job of just following the gameplan and you all saw the result.”

According to Armando Bacot, Leaky Black’s presence is most felt on the defensive end, where he is a force for the Tar Heels.

“We knew that Leaky’s pressure on all of that could affect them. I mean, Leaky’s been a great defender since he’s been here and to go down there and shut down a guy like that who’s been playing great all year, I think that really just speaks to how good of a defender Leaky is.”

Armando Bacot says that Clemson win was huge

Armando Bacot thinks that the Clemson win was huge for North Carolina, as the Tar Heels look to take a step forward as a team.

“I think it was a huge step,” Bacot said.

“I thought today we really played with each other, played for each other. We had a lot of fun out there today. We were connected, we were talking to each other. But, like I said, after the Wake game? We had a lot of talks and kind of just did some soul-searching. I think that really helped us.”
