The storied DukeUNC basketball rivalry will add another chapter this evening after a terrific meeting between the two programs earlier this season. But first noted Tar Heels fan Eric Church dropped his Duke all-hate teams on ESPN’s College GameDay.

The GameDay crew actually had Church come up with a couple teams.

First, they got Church to list his all-time North Carolina team, which featured the likes of Michael Jordan and Tyler Hansbrough, among others.

But much more interestingly, the ESPN College GameDay crew also had Hansbrough pick his Duke All-Hate team, the players on Duke that he despised the most. Church couldn’t even limit it to five, deciding he needed a 1A and 1B team.

So who made the list for Church? Check out his picks below.

All-Time UNC Basketball Team

F – Tyler Hansbrough
F – Antawn Jamison
F – James Worthy
G – Michael Jordan
G – Phil Ford

Duke All-Hate Team, 1A

More on Duke vs. North Carolina

Today’s game between Duke and North Carolina is slated for a 6:30 p.m. ET tip time with a national broadcast on ESPN.

Duke won the first meeting between the two programs 63-57 and coach Jon Scheyer believed that would help his team’s confidence going forward.

“It definitely helps,” Scheyer said after that win. “I felt, after my time playing here, that there’s two major ways to get confidence. One is preparation. You get confident by the preparation that you put in. But two is confidence from your experiences and actually doing it and winning.

“We’ve been right there, we’ve had some close games. We just haven’t been able to get the key stop, get the key bucket to go up two possessions. And, tonight, we did. There was multiple times in the huddles where our players were talking and I didn’t have to say anything. Because we’ve been going over it after our losses and wins. You hate to lose but you probably learn more in the losses as well. So, for our guys, they were just really hungry and made some big-time, winning plays down the stretch.”
