Tuscaloosa (Ala.) Meadowcreek three-star running back Jordan Louie announced that he will be taking an official visit to North Carolina on the weekend of Dec. 10. It will mark his first visit back to the program since Sept. 24.

Louie is the No. 604 overall prospect and No. 40 running back in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 57 player in Georgia.

On3 rates Louie higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Even though he is not ranked in the 2023 On300, Louie is the No. 31 running back and No. 46 player in Georgia.

The former West Virginia commit is also taking officials to Kentucky (Dec. 17) and Vanderbilt (Dec. 3).

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, it is a very close race for Louie’s commitment. North Carolina currently has the lead at 35.6%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

The 6-foot-0, 205-pound tailback has expressed interest in the Tar Heels for multiple weeks. He spoke about the matter with On3’s Jeremy Johnson on Oct. 5.

“My interest level in them is pretty high,” Louie said. “(Head) coach Mack Brown is a great guy. The thing I like about them is that they’re straightforward. They don’t sugarcoat. They don’t try to make you feel this or make you feel this. I like people that are going to be straightforward with you instead of trying to shoot me the bullcrap and then I get there and it be something totally different. I want you to be honest with me before all that happens.”

Louie has an On3 NIL Valuation of $15.7K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
