2024 four-star prospect James Brown will officially visit North Carolina on October 15th, a source told On3.

Brown is a 6-foot-10 center from Chicago (IL) St. Rita’s who ranks 30th nationally according to the On3 Consensus, the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies.

In addition to the Tarheels, Brown holds offers from the likes of Duke, Michigan State, Indiana, Michigan, Harvard, Illinois, Notre Dame, and several others.

Brown discusses the North Carolina Tarheels

In a previous interview with On3, Brown discussed the North Carolina program.

“I know a lot historically about the program, with their success and their many great players but that’s another school I’m prepared to learn a lot about,” Brown said. “That’s a school that I like, even outside of their basketball success but educational success as well. That’s something that’s really important to me and my family, athletics, but education as well. I’m really excited to get to know Coach (Hubert) Davis and his staff and the whole Carolina program.”
