Scouting Report on Tyler Nickel
On3’s Senior National Recruiting Analyst Gerry Hamilton had this to say about Nickel:
“Tyler Nickel is a knock-down shooter with a natural feel for creating space to get clean looks. At his best going left off one or two hard dribbles into a pull-up, but has improved going right in the last few months. Quick-release, confident stroke out to 23-feet. Strong lower body to play through bumps. Runs to the wing in transition. Can be deadly on catch-and-shoot threes in transition. Will be key in floor spacing at the high-major level. Not going to win off the bounce against athletic opponents. Will win with feel for the game.”
