Tez Walker injured following big hit by Georgia Tech defender

The North Carolina Tar Heels offense, down four in the fourth quarter, was putting together an impressive drive to take the lead. Unfortunately, disaster struck as not only did they lose the ball, but they also suffered a significant injury on the play.

Quarterback Drake Maye found star wide receiver Tez Walker streaking across the middle for the field for the catch. But as Walker attempted to cut up field and pick up more yardage, a Georgia Tech defender delivered a solid hit, knocking the ball loose in the process.

The Yellow Jackets recovered the fumble, and Walker remained on the ground for quite some time, injured. After a lengthy evaluation on the field, the North Carolina receiver was able to make his way off the field with the assistance of the training staff.
