A few weeks ago, against Wake Forest, Davis erupted for 27 points, with 22 of those coming in the second half. His second half explosion helped propel the ‘Heels to an 88-79 victory over the Demon Deacons.
This season, Davis is averaging 16.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game. He’s been able to pick up the slack in a year where Caleb Love has been surprisingly up-and-down for most of the 2022-2023 season.
North Carolina now sits at 14-6 overall and 6-3 in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
