Northwestern offers 4-star WR Cam Coleman
Phenix City (Ala.) Central four-star wide receiver Cam Coleman received an offer from Northwestern Monday. He announced the news on Twitter.
Coleman is the No. 250 overall prospect and No. 39 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 17 player in Alabama.
The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Coleman holds 11 Power Five offers and the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has Auburn as the favorite to land a commitment from Coleman at 41.4%.
Growing up Coleman recently stated that he was more a fan of players over schools when he watched football and never really had a favorite school.
“I wasn’t really a fan of any school,” Coleman told BamaInsider’s Andrew Bone. “I just liked watching football. I grew up watching Amari Cooper a lot when he was at ‘Bama. I liked Odell (Beckham Jr.). I am now watching Justin Jefferson and trying to emulate my game after him.”

Coleman had a busy fall in 2022 as he visited several schools. He visited Alabama three times attending the Crimson Tide’s games against Auburn, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt. Auburn also received three visits from Coleman as he attended the Tigers’ games against Texas A&M, Florida State and Georgia Tech.
During the spring and summer Coleman told Bone that he hopes to visit Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida and Florida State. Visits to Michigan and Penn State would likely happen sometime during the summer.
Coleman currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $29K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
