On3 4-star LB Nigel Glover commits to Northwestern

Dayton (Ohio) Northmont four-star linebacker Nigel Glover has committed to Northwestern, announcing the news Sunday on social media.
He is the No. 464 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
But On3 rates him much higher than that. On3 says he is the No. 136 recruit, No. 8 linebacker and No. 2 player from the state of Ohio in the 2023 On300 ranking.
“Nigel Glover plays safety at Dayton (Ohio) Northmont, but looks like a future linebacker,” On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power said. “He shows safety athleticism and ability in space at 6-foot-3, 210 pounds. Glover is a physical downhill defender with considerable pop on contact. He also shows impressive burst and effort level as a pursuit defender.”

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $13.8k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
Northwestern now has the 27th-ranked class in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking. Glover is joining Dearborn (Mich.) Divine Child three-star offensive lineman Dylan Senda, Prospect (Ill.) Mount Prospect three-star athlete Frank Covey IV, Joliet (Ill.) Joliet Catholic Academy three-star interior offensive lineman Anthony Birsa, Naperville (Ill.) Naperville North three-star quarterback Aidan Gray and Lawndale (Calif.) Leuzinger safety Jacob Lewis in the class.
