2025 On3 No. 5 safety Dallas Golden visits Notre Dame
Tampa Berkeley Prep 2025 four-star safety Dallas Golden is one of the premier defensive backs in the 2025 recruiting cycle. He has top offers from all around the country, but as of now, the On3 Recruiting Prediction defines his recruitment as a dead heat between Florida State and Notre Dame.
The Fighting Irish and Seminoles sit at 44.6% and 26.4% chances respectively to land Golden, per the RPM. He had visited each school twice coming into the weekend according to the On3 Visit Center. Now, Golden is back on campus in South Bend.
Golden is the nation’s No. 84 overall prospect and No. 8 safety in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 13 recruit in Florida.
On3 ranks Golden higher than the other major recruiting services. He is the No. 57 overall recruit and No. 5 safety in the 2025 On300.
Golden visited South Bend for a game back in October.
“It was a great experience,” Golden told BGI. “That was one of the best atmospheres I’ve seen in person. It was crazy and electric. The fans were great, and I loved how the coaches reacted when they made big plays.”

According to BGI, Notre Dame is recruiting Golden as a cornerback with coach Mike Mickens as his lead recruiter.
“It was really good talking with him,” said Golden. “He’s a great person and treats me well. When I talk to him, nothing is forced; it’s organic. It’s easy to have a conversation with him.”
Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman is active in Golden’s recruitment as well.
“He talked about how excited he was for me to get up there,” continued Golden. “I definitely enjoy talking with Coach Freeman.”
