4-star DL Owen Wafle commits to Notre Dame
Princeton (N.J.) Hun School four-star defensive lineman Owen Wafle has committed to Notre Dame, announcing the news Monday.
Wafle chose the Fighting Irish over Iowa, Michigan State, Rutgers and Vanderbilt.
He is the No. 233 overall recruit in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Wafle is the fourth-ranked recruit from the state of New Jersey after Irvington (N.J.) four-star safety Vaboue Toure, Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep four-star defensive lineman Jordan Thomas and Camden (N.J.) Woodrow Wilson four-star linebacker William Love.
The Fighting Irish have one other commit in the 2024 recruiting class in West Bloomfield (Mich.) four-star defensive lineman Brandon Davis-Swain.
Notre Dame has the No. 1 recruiting class in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking.
